Born Javon Nickson Sowemimo on February 28th in Bronx NY, (Jay Show) grew up with music in his blood. As a Royal Nigerian, American born rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and hit maker, the Penn State graduate is rising to the top.
He initially gained his recognition with his single “Michael Scott”. With this track, he was able to show his versatility as it differed from his lyrical background.
He also was able to build quite the buzz around himself with RGMG FRIDAY’s, his weekly freestyle that he posts to Instagram and Facebook.
He was able to attract attention from celebrities such as The Game, Fatman Scoop, and even actor Hill Harper to mention a few.
RGMG FRIDAYS has over 50 consecutive weeks which shows just how consistent Jay Show is. He has also performed in shows in various states.
He has even been able to open up for artists such as Davido and PNB Rock amongst others.
Jay’s interest in Nigeria can’t be overemphasized as he looks to pursue a music career in Nigeria and the United States respectively.
